Growing a community of medical meditators

​Meditation is a powerful tool for staying present and calm in hectic clinical environments. It is also a route to deeper self-understanding, based on the idea of bringing awareness into oneself.

Humanising Healthcare runs free, online meditation sessions to support the mental health and spiritual development of medical students and health workers.

The sessions are open to anyone and simply offer a space for people to sit in silence together and practice ‘anapanasati’ (awareness of breathing) morning meditation. Details of when the sessions will be held, along with a link to join, will be sent through our newsletter.
